Luis Gajate – Principal

Luis leads analysis and strategic brand thinking for clients.

He has extensive client-facing experience and has managed projects globally, across multiple sectors – from financial services to airlines, consumer electronics to retail, energy & power to hospitality. He began his career in marketing at Unilever as brand manager for brands such as Hellman’s and Knorr, before moving into brand strategy consulting working in New York and in Latin America.

Luis studied Economics at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and received an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Luis loves landscape photography and travel, two hobbies he usually tries to combine. He is also passionate about driving strategic brand thinking and sustainable conscience through business. In his native Peru, Luis is a founding member of L+1, a non-profit organisation that seeks the country’s sustainable development by promoting sustainable business practices in the private sector.
