Delighted to join Kirstyn DeVries on her podcast, Purpose and Pace.

For a living, I interview other people – rather fun to have the table turned.

Kirstyn explores my early career as client and consultant – Bonhams Auctioneers, Habitat, Fitch, Imagination, The Body Shop. Wonderful roles which helped me, with my co-founders, invent Circus.

I share the Circus approach to Purpose as a Business Driver, with the four tenets of the Circus Double Double – Ideology, Inspiration, Sacrifice and Discipline.

Together with my obsession with STEAM, not just STEM. And the importance of Imagination and Discernment in work and in life.

Our conversation made me reflect on my good fortune:

– rare opportunities at a very early age, trusted with senior roles, way beyond my experience

– client roles in conviction businesses – informing my belief that Purpose should first and foremost inspire and instruct the Proposition – Commercial and Cultural

– the opportunity to co-work with extraordinary clients, collaborators and colleagues – an ecosystem which gives me energy and hope
